Brockley: Where virgins come to die
Filming has been taking place in Brockley for a BBC Films production called 'Now is Good'. The film stars Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds, Twilight saga) as a girl with leukemia who's determined to lose her virginity before she dies - a mission shared by some Brockley Central readers.
A shoot took place in Hilly Fields Crescent yesterday. Thanks to all the people who told us about it on Twitter.

I suggest someone points her in the direction of the Venue.
You're not wrong - It definitely lives up to it's 'meat market' reputation!!
It was a pleasure. Colin got to be the Best Boy and the Key Grip.
It was filming next door to me. Not sure if it was just one day, but the blackout rigging is still up this morning and the Arri lighting truck was outside this morning when I went to work. I didn't recognise any of the crew though, was thinking I might. Now I know how other people feel when I go and organise a shoot next door to their house, I've done it hundreds of times to them now I have half of my street coned off and people everywhere.
Took a bet on how long it would be before BDS came up with some pathetic comment given Nick's title for this topic. A couple of hours was it? He really can't have anything else to do.
Well Anonymous, at least BDS posts his/her own creative comments. You on the otherhand just appear to do nothing but snipe at others.
Interesting post and will look out for it on TV in the future!
In Tyrwhitt yesterday, 3 people scouting locations for Audi ad. They want pot holes.
Positive Comments: I only snipe at BDS and will continue to do. There, that is a positive comment for you.
Other Anons probably snipe at other people.
like me
I was chatting to the unit manager (having just got back from shooting a period drama up in Elstree, dahlings), who told me that locations had chosen that house because it was the epitome of student decor inside... and even more so after the art department had got all 'creative' with it.
