Young, Dumb and Living Off Mum - starts tonight
Although BBC3 targets the nation's yoof - and usually panders to their every notional whim - its fun new show Young, Dumb And Living Off Mum (Sun, 9pm, BBC3) actively mocks young aspirational adults with surprisingly refreshing viciousness.
- Charlie Brooker, The Guide
The Brockley-based reality TV show starts tonight at 9pm on BBC Three and should provide plenty of entertainment as feckless twerps get broken down and rebuilt by the stark reality of life in the conservation area.
People who've never done a day's work will be encouraged to get themselves a proper job, like abstract painting or holistic therapy.

I've just watched the trailer on-line - those kids look horrendous. Looks like it could be fairly entertaining, though - The Apprentice for wasters.
Not exactly good PR for Brockley though is it? Chav central.
On the contrary anon - spoilt rich kids with no sense of perspective who badly need bringing down to earth?
It's like they've tapped into Brockley's very soul.
.whilst staying in a £1.65m house, quite.
It's just teenagers mugging to the camera, let's not take it all too seriously. Not as if it's a serious bit of social research. I find their slightly orange skin tone a bit worrying, not colour like that in nature as far as I know?
difficult to type this in my phone. sorry for the dodgy sentence structure.
"rebuilt by the stark reality of life in the conservation area"
i like it!
Ohhh Robert Webb is doing the voice over. That makes it much more worthwhile!
Didn't enjoy it, exploitation TV, turned off less than half way through (better than reruns of Birds of a Feather though)
"spoilt rich kids with no sense of perspective"
It's funny but that can also be appiled to the many working class people in unions which are too strong...
Some twat is skateboarding down my road right now. Have these kids stuck around or something?!
Agreed anon-"spoilt rich kids with no sense of perspective who badly need bringing down to earth"-perhaps they should do a programme about publc sector workers-put them in the private sector where results and getting things done at a market rate are of the utmost importance-now that would be interesting television-talk about a wake up call!
or put private sector in the public sector and see how long it takes them to screw the taxpayer/feck it up/fold
could call it PFI Friday
They did, it's called Metronet.
"They did, it's called Metronet"
I was being tongue in cheek!
Wow that spam is actually Japanese. TJ, Bea can you read much of it? I can only recognise some of the characters...
....I have just noticed the characters for "sex friend"...!
....And the word for "horny"... I think I get the general gist
