Bullock boosts Brockley
Yesterday, Mayor Bullock, praise be upon him, approved this funding.
Brockley Common is greenlit.
We hope to bring you more news about what this means for the timetable, shortly.

How do you know? Sources please
Lewisham Council.
have you got a link for that?
This is the link - BC is a primary news source! We're not one of those blogs that just cuts and pastes other blogs, we actually do some research from time to time ;) I spoke to the press office, that is what they told me.
Your faith is truly moving.
right... so I'll believe everything that's said here then...
That's right.
your emoticon must have fallen off the bottom of your reply nick
;)
Brilliant. Three cheers for uncle steve..
In all seriousness, we do check our facts before writing "news". Much of the blog posts are opinion, of variable quality and validity. But when we report news, we do bother to find out if it's true or not. I see no reason to doubt the press office on a simple yes / no question.
of course, goes without saying
same goes for all the moderators content
;)
Well done Stevey boy! And he moved so quickly! I'm impressed! And for the record, I have faith in you Nick, you truly are the Brockley Oracle...
HH - you are truely the Brockly sycophant.
Excellent news that the common is going ahead though!
I say what I think, if what I think is positive and supportive then so be it. Hardly sycophantic!
Hi - please correct me if I have this wrong, but this only seems to indicate an improvement to access to the ticket office; the North Bound platform will remain unaccessible to wheelchairs and a bumpy ride down the steps for babies in prams?
I guess you have to ask what babies in prams are doing going to London Bridge... Going off to work in the City?
Parents actually do have lives beyond Brockley and occasionally that involves going via London Bridge :-) And my little boy loves trains, buses and 'tunnel trains' as well as the occasional trip to Hamleys!
good
a plea for some lighting around ST john's station please?
it is a sweet little station in summer months but from now onwards, the walk up to the road is very nasty and pitch black at night. surely it isn't too expensive to install some lighting?
it is a nasty dingey little area currently, dangerous for women/anyone vulnerable and I personally would not consider taking the train there in winter evenings.
They might be going to Guy's, the major teaching hospital right beside the station, for example.
More details please, I am new to this site and do not understand what this is about.
Installation of grass where there is grass, and a ramp where there is a ramp
Excellent, wonderful news, congrats Sir Steve, my faith in Lewisham Council is renewed.
And also massive congratulations to BXAG, who have worked so hard towards this. Truly great news for them. They deserve our thanks and praise (and spare change) ...
umm is it not steve's election next year!!!!!!
when we will see work actually happen here? Lots of talk but very little action. wasn't this supposed to be completed this march?
